Transforming Aviation Training in India
SkyWize Aviation was born from the passion of two accomplished Army Aviation pilots who chose to continue their love for flying and teaching by shaping the next generation of professional pilots. Drawing on years of operational and instructional experience, they brought with them the values that define military aviation — discipline, precision, accountability and a strong mission focus. SkyWize was founded to bring these principles into pilot training, combining them with modern teaching and experiential learning to prepare aspiring pilots not merely to pass examinations, but to become confident, capable aviation professionals.
Our pilot training program is run by the highly qualified duo of Amit & Gurpreet — trained as instructors by the Indian Air Force, with vast teaching and instructional experience
Amit has 22 years of flying experience and is a Qualified Flying Instructor, having trained at the prestigious Flying Instructors' School of Indian Air Force at Tambaram. He has been teaching flying and Aviation ground subjects since the last 15 years and was also awarded the highest instructional category of Senior Aviation Instructor Grade-1 (A2 QFI) during his illustrious flying career. In his last tenure with the Army, he was the Chief Examiner & Operational Safety Auditor of Army Aviation Corps.
Gurpreet is a highly experienced pilot with 22 years of experience in military and commercial flying, having donned several hats in his flying career and flown nine different variants of aircrafts. Apart from flying he is also qualified in Air Traffic Control and Flight Safety and Accident Investigation. He is trained in instructional technique from the Ground Instructors' School of Indian Air Force and has been an Instructor at Institute of Aerospace Safety at New Delhi.
